From K to N Artemi Panarin a very successful KHL player has now been rewarded for the monstrous season he had. Putting up 62 points in 54 games he finished the season with the best point per game at the fragile age of 23. The Russian factor does come into effect however, being a natural finisher and playmaker he'll have no problems fitting in with an already stacked Blackhawks team. Signing for under a million gives you the feeling he didn't come here for the money but for the chance to play in the NHL. Much like Jori Lehtera from last year. Coming off the stellar season he did the same could be expected for Panarin. Standing at 5'11 and 170lbs he's not known for his size but his amazing speed and being to able to attack at high speeds. Samson George took him in the late rounds of the draft. Many asked who? And why? But Samson was banking on Panarin making the opening day roster and sticking with the team. This is he produces could be one of the best or worst picks of the draft. Guess we'll see in October.
