The rules for trading are sorta specific and if you don't follow them to a point, then things will get very complicated very fast.
So first off, you must have a complete team at all times and the proper position players in place. You can fabricate any deal you want but, if you are missing players in a specific position you must fill that hole by picking up a player that was left undrafted in our main draft, this will be known as the free agent pool. This information must be provided in the same post the trade was announced or else it will be deemed invalid and therefore not be able to go through. This change in rules will allow teams to make uneven trades, such as 2 for 1 type deals.
The free agent pool is a pretty simple concept. A free agent is identified as a player that does not currently hold a position on anyone's fantasy team roster. You have 3 chances to drop current roster players and replace them with free agents.
A trade will also be veto'd if I do not have direct confirmation by both teams involved.
A proper Trade confirmation will look like this:
Trade
TO NATHAN WOOLRIDGE: (C) Sidney Crosby
TO KYLE WEAVER: (RW) Corey Perry & (D) Shea Weber
Free Agents
TO NATHAN WOOLRIDGE: (RW) Troy Brouwer & (D) Kyle Quincy
TO KYLE WEAVER: (C) Riley Smith
Along with individual confirmation from both teams on the exact trades and FA acquisitions

If you have roster holes after a trade, you must fill them with free agents.
You have too many players after a trade, you must drop players in the required position.
